DS2 is looking for qualified professional Registered Nurses to join our customer site in Omaha, NE on a PRN/Casual basis. Individual would be required to work under the direc! t supervision of the Area Nurse Manager and/or Nurse Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will provide coverage for the staff when they take days off or attend meetings/conferences and may also provide client support for outreach work such as flu shot clinics and health promotion exhibits.
Triage and treat employee illnesses and injuries.
Respond to medical emergencies.
Physical assessments, exams and drug testing (BAT or UDS).
Phlebotomy and administration of medications, immunizations and vaccinations.
Medical Surveillance including EKG’s, Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT’s), Spirometry, Hearing and Vision Testing.
Deliver Health and Wellness Programs including B/P and Cholesterol Screenings as well as Flu Shots.
Other appropriate clinical/nursing duties when required.
Qualifications:
Current RN License
CPR/AED certification
One (1) year experience in Occupational/Employee Health! or related experience such as Public/Community/Correctional h! ealth, Outpatient Clinic, School Nursing, or Physician Office Nursing
Basic computer skills
