Develop and screen biomarkers for the development of breast cancer. This position requires competency in protein purification, cell culture maintenance, keeping updated and accurate data of ongoing experiments and proficient computer skills. This position will require organizational skills to maintain laboratory reagents, resources and database as well as order and stock supplies. The position will also entail preparation and performance of experiments using molecular techniques (RNA, DNA, and protein), cell culture, transfection, flow cytometry, animal models and immunohistochemistry and confocal microscopy. The position will require organizational skills to organize, maintain, as well as ship research specimens to collaborating labs.
