CHI seeks senior level IT executives for Regional Chief Information Officer (RCIO) positions which support the Market Based Organizations (MBO) located in Omaha, Nebraska; Louisville, Kentucky; and Tacoma, Washington.
The RCIO is a key corporate resource for IT and supports the knowledge decision-making and education of the market-base! d executive team. The RCIO position provides direction for ove! rall excellence in business and clinical functions, builds strong internal and external relationships, and achieves consensus with key stakeholders at all levels of the MBO as well as the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The RCIO implements business strategies that have alignment with CHIâs enterprise-level IT Services and IT goals of the MBO. The RCIO is a key IT executive on the MBO leadership team and a strong, active, and contributing member of the senior management team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned IT leader with 5-10 years of significant management experience in a senior level IT role such as a CIO or RCIO, preferably in a multi-hospital environment. A Bachelorâs degree is required and a graduate degree preferred. Ability to function effectively and balance the needs of the MBO and the OCIO. Strong relationship and consensus building skills, as well as excellent communication skills are essential. He/she w! ill be seen as collaborative leader who understands and supports the mission driven values of a faith-based organization, and has the ability to cultivate strong working relationships with business executives and physicians in a complex health system.
