Seeking Nurse Practitioner Stroke Manager. Must be a Graduate of an approved Advanced Practice Nursing and at least two (2) years’ experience working at a level of advanced practice in acute care setting.

CERTIFICATE, LICENCES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license from the State of Nebraska
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification

You will work in collaboration with the Stroke Program Medical Director. Manages all activities of the stroke program, assumes clinical leadership role during Code Stroke activation. Is accountable for own nursing practice while assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care required to meet the holistic needs of the stroke patient population. Assumes active leadership ro! le in providing patient and staff education related to stroke care and management and assists with research and development for this population.
