Customer Care Associate

DIMENSION & SCOPE:
To deliver excellent customer service while providing information regarding services to medical providers and patients in a call center environment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act a patient advocate through demonstrating strong listening skills; acknowledging their concerns; and apply established procedures to ensure resolution is provided and presented in a clear and accurate manner.
  • Interact with members of the healthcare community such as doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers who have questions regarding patient management, patient eligibility and billing.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through adhering to policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Update member and health providers information.
REQUIREMENTS OF ! THIS POSITION INCLUDE:
  • A high school diploma ! or GED; an associate''s degree is preferred.
  • One year of customer service and / or insurance claims experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills and ability to respond effectively to customers.
  • Utilize a professional telephone speaking voice and demonstrate a positive demeanor.
  • Excellent computer skills; ability to navigate multiple screens and programs on a PC.
  • Proven ability to learn new skills, knowledge and systems quickly.
  • Committed to providing the highest level of customer service.
