The Director of Nursing is responsible for the daily coordination and oversight of all aspects of the nursing department is accordance with the Federal, State and local regulations.
DUTIES
- Coordinate, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the nursing service department
- Develop and maintain methods for coordinating nursing services
- Participate in facility surveys
- Assist in planning for resident's admissions and discharges
- Determine and monitor the staffing needs of the nursing department
- Must be a Registered Nurse
- Looking for 3+ years of supervisory experience, in geriatric and/or restorative. Strong clinical teacher; Solid clinically, with a good track record of successful survey and outcome results
- Rehab experience preferred
- Develop and maintain methods for coordinating nursing services
