Examples of Work:
Under the supervision of the maternal Child Adolescent Health Program Manager, the Home Visiting Program Coordinator: fulfills broad program planning and development objectives of the ACA Home Visiting Program; works in a team leadership model to meet federal grant requirements and assure the development and delivery of quality, effective, home visiting services in project locations; produces a work plan and timeline coordinating various aspects of program operations and a quarterly newsletter; actively develops a network of home visiting stakeholders using effective communication and collaboration methods; develops contracts and provides contract oversight; develops and monitors budgets, writes reports, and facilitates meetings; and represents agency and program at local, state, regional, and national levels.
Qualifications / Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree or equivalent coursework/training in: public administration, business or social behavioral sciences or other field related to the assigned program or professional experience working in a human/social service or health care agency including experience writing for grants, administering funds and leading community groups.
PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in public health, nursing, early childhood development or education, or health sciences with experience with service delivery to families in diverse or multicultural settings. Other: Valid drivers license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of: collaborative processes Skill in: effective communication, evidence-based home visiting or other community-based interventions, data analysis, quality improvement approaches, and/or program evaluations methods.
