Your New Role
West Village is a $1.1 billion dollar mixed-use precinct. The heritage listed former Peters Ice Cream factories are at the heart of the 2.6ha precinct, which will ultimately deliver up to 1,200 residences along with up to 20,000sqm of commercial, a 14,000sqm retail precinct, and 1ha of open parklands and heritage laneways.
The Marketing Officer will have a primary focus on servicing the West Village project but will also be a key part of the wider Apartment & Mixed-Use Developments Marketing team that supports exciting projects across Sydney and Queensland.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, your duties will include:
- Supporting in the execution of a wide range of marketing activities including with communication plans, advertising, campaigns, collateral/ materials, content and channels and more.
- Supporting with activations, placemaking, event management and community engagement, including liaising with retailers
- Always working with an aim to maximise customer engagement, reach targets and increase ROI to achieve the operational and strategic objectives of the West Village project and the wider Apartment & Mixed-Use Developments business unit.
- Support in the development and maintenance of marketing budgets.
- Assist in data collection, dissemination, and reporting across all channels.
- Execute reporting and general administrative tasks as required, including with invoicing and sales and marketing reports.
- Event planning and management which involves some weekend and evening timeframes.
- Supporting other projects within the Apartments portfolio as required.
- A solid marketing background with experience in events, copywriting, campaigns, social media and EDMs
- Passion for and experience within the property industry, settlements experience a bonus
- Amazing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solid reporting and analytical skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (desirable)
- High level of self-motivation and initiative
- Flexible to work some weekends and evenings as required for events
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
