JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to residents assigned to him/her under the direction of the physician supporting ! the resident service agreement and meeting the written comprehensive care plan objectives, while functioning within the appropriate scope of practice. This position is responsible for working to fulfill goals and objectives of Grace Pointe and Tabitha Health Care Services Inc. This position is responsible for delivery of quality service, promoting good public relations and for upholding the mission and standards of the facility. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES -Must possess a genuine interest in Alzheimer/dementia nursing and understanding of behavioral symptom care.

• Must possess a flexible attitude toward differing cultures and life styles. -Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. -Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. -Must possess t he ability to plan, organize, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, p! olicies and procedures, etc.

that are necessary for! providing quality care. -Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents. -Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices. -Must be able to relate information concerning a resident''s condition.

• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing, required. Nebraska Certified Medication Assistant (40 hour) strongly preferred. CPR certified EDUCATION/TRAINING AND WORK EXPERIENCE Is at least 18 years of age.

Is of good moral character. Is listed on State Registry in good standing or must complete a state approve training course (75 hours) and Medication Aide II course (40 hours) including competency testing. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
