Kelly Benefits in Sparks, MD is seeking an experienced call center individual to provide professional and efficient service via phone and e-mail to all current and prospective Kelly Benefits customers while supporting the overall service, sales and marketing efforts of the organization. Responsibilities include being available for customers contacting the Kelly Benefits or Major Accounts Call Center for assistance by answering questions and resolving issues related to insurance benefit related programs, billing, enrollment, COBRA, administrative procedures, etc. while providing timely follow-up, if necessary. Kelly Benefits Call Center customers include brokers, group administrators, COBRA subscribers, carriers, and internal Kelly Benefits departments. Seeking goal oriented individuals to maintain call center quality listening scores while meeting specific call center metrics and attendance and schedule adherence.
- Pay - $17.50 per hour, after a 90 day orientation period, if all expectations and criteria are being met satisfactorily the salary will move to $18.25 per hour. At the one year anniversary date, will be reviewed for eligibility of a merit adjustment
- Hours - Minimum hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Additional hours may be required to achieve business objectives
- Start Date Required – June 26, 2023 - Training is paid and intermittent. Minimally 6 weeks long to start and will continue over the next 4 months.

o Computer with all IT specs required; high-speed internet connection, a broadband internet connection with adequate bandwidth – minimum 5Mbps download and 1Mbps upload (this can be validated at https://beta.speedtest.net)
o Mouse and keyboard are preferred verses trying to use a laptop with a touchpad or track ball
o Two monitors

o Microphone either embedded in the computer or separate – we prefer not to use the telephone call in unless absolutely necessaryo It can be useful to have a head-set that has the microphone in it so background noise is reduced from home office
o Video camera either embedded in the computer or separate
- A private dedicated workspace to maintain confidentiality
Requirements –
- High school diploma required; A.A./B.A./B.S. preferred
- Strongly preferred minimum 1-2 years of experience in a call center environment, especially within the healthcare, benefit administration, credit card, or technology industries
- Preferred 1-2 years of customer service experience especially within healthcare, benefit administration, high-end retail, credit card, or banking industries
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced and skilled in computer systems in a windows-based environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
